What we keep, and why

Immortal Drafts is a free fan game. It needs very little about you, and keeps less. Last updated 29 October 2026.

An anonymous id

The first time you play, your browser makes a random id and keeps it on this device. It is not your name and is not linked to anything outside this site. It lets the server tell your daily results, versus matches and leaderboard name apart from everyone else's. Clear the site's data and you get a new one.

An account, if you want one

Signing in is optional. If you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive the account id, display name and email address that provider shares, and use them only to sign you in and keep your results across devices. We never post anywhere for you and never see your password.

Game results

The server stores what the game needs: daily results, versus and ranked matches, your optional leaderboard name and any question reports you send. Streaks, settings, sound and drafts in progress stay on your device and never reach the server.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and how the game is played: when a draft starts and ends, its record and letter grade, which boosters get used, when a result is shared. These events carry the game, never a name or email. Google adds the device type and an approximate location, and Google Analytics does not store IP addresses. We use it to fix balance and find where players get stuck. Analytics data is deleted after 14 months.

Ads (Google AdSense) and cookies

Ads pay for hosting. They appear only on result screens and menus, never during a draft, a question or a match. Google and its partners use cookies and similar storage to show ads, limit repeats, count views and stop fraud, and, if you allow it, to personalise ads from your activity on other sites. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and change ad personalisation in My Ad Center.

Your consent choices

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message asks before any analytics or advertising cookies are set, and both stay off until you choose. Ads you see before agreeing are limited and not personalised. Your choice is saved in a cookie on this device, and you can change it at any time from the Privacy and cookie settings link at the foot of every page.

Outside those regions, analytics and ads run by default. Browser tracking protection and ad blockers are respected: the game works the same without them.

How long we keep it

  • Daily results, matches and board names: as long as the boards run.
  • Question reports: until the question is checked, then deleted.
  • An account: until you ask us to delete it.
  • Google Analytics: 14 months. Ad cookies: as set by Google, up to 13 months.

We do not sell your data. The game's database (Supabase) and hosting (Vercel) process it for us; Google processes analytics and ads data under its own policies.

Ask, correct or delete

Email rjbatuigas@gmail.com with your board name or account and we will tell you what we hold, correct it, or delete it. If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
